Boundless Love: How to Generate Compassion for Yourself and Others

September 8 - 10, 2017

Lion’s Roar Annual Retreat

Buddhism is renowned for its teachings on love and compassion. In this retreat, led by outstanding Buddhist teachers, you will have the opportunity to quiet the mind and tune into the heart, exploring a deeper, boundless love that is available to all.

Through presentations, discussions, and meditation, participants will learn how to:

• Practice basic Buddhist meditation to tame the mind and develop insight
• Generate compassion for oneself and others through metta, or loving-kindness practice.
• Identify the self-cherishing view that limits the experience of love
• Extend compassion to all beings through the Buddhist practice called taking and sending.
